Braveheart Country & Trossachs Beauty
From St Andrews, we head for the historic city of Stirling via Gleneagles. We visit Stirling Castle - a great symbol of Scottish independence and a source of enduring national pride; and the Wallace Monument - dedicated to the memory of William Wallace (Braveheart). We then head for the lovely towns of Aberfoyle and Callander passing through the beautiful Trossachs – one of Scotland’s most scenic areas. We return to St Andrews via Stirling and Kinross passing by Loch Leven where Mary Queen of Scots
was imprisoned on an island castle.
